Here are 10 Tips to assist you keep your weight under
control:
1. Determine within your mind that you *really* want
to lose weight
and keep it under control. Determination strengthens
your will power.
2. Keep your fruit bowl exotic and full. Fruits such
as kiwis, passion fruits, apricots, mandarins, and
even apples. When your body demands sugar, go for
the fruit. When you are tempted to indulge in alcohol
or sugary food because of stress, troubles or dilemas,
go to your fruit bowl instead or make a fruit juice
blend.
3. If you can't cut off your red meat instake, substitute
it with white meat from from livestock and fish. Keep
at this substitute for some three months. Once you
can succeed at this, when you treat yourself with
red meat once in a while, you won't really miss it.
Believe me, it works.
4. If you are a chocolate addict, first change your
habit by going for the unpalatable dark chocolate,
then move and substitute this with real dried cocoa
bean. Not only would you have succeeded at getting
rid of sugar, but you will be benefiting from energy
lift, less anxiety, reduction in pain, etc.
5. Create your weight
control movie. Cut out articles, pictures, anything
you see about successful slimmers and pin them to
your kitchen's notice board and anywhere near your
glass mirror. It will serve as a reminder and mental
picture that supports your resistance to temptations.
It works marvellously!
6. If you don't have a dog, offer to walk your neigbour's
dog to the park, regularly. If you are scared of animals,
add a daily 15-minute spirited walk to your daily
routine. Before you know it, you would want to increase
it to 30 minutes. Soon, you would start feeling great.
7. Remember, a good non-sugar influenced morning
cereal could keep you going all day. The best is muesli,
at most crunchy or toasted oats. Also an unbuttered
low-fat currant bun is a good healthy treat. The
booster is quite handy here, it really keeps
me going and always ready for action when time calls.

8. Each time you are tempted with that junk-fatty-calorie-loaded
fast food. Remember that you are a winner who has
won a race in life by making it into this world in
a race that involved billions of cells. You won that
race and you can win this one!
9. Don't fall into the trap of using baggy clothes
or unsightly tight clothes to hide or conceal your
blobby parts. Confront it and you will make real improvement
as you start changing to lower dress sizes with time.
10. Nothing is impossible to those who believe. When
you are achieving you goals, remember to pat yourself
on the back and treat yourself. Life is for living
not for enduring or suffering.
